- Visualizing Your LifeVisualization is the practice of forming a clear mental image of a desired outcome. From a conservative Christian psychological view, this isn’t “wishful thinking,” but training the mind to align with God’s truth and direction. Proverbs 23:7 reminds us, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Childhood experiences often shape our mental pictures. If we grew up hearing criticism or negativity, we may struggle to imagine success. A naturopath would add that the brain and body respond physically to what we imagine—visualization can reduce stress, improve focus, and even strengthen immunity. When you visualize God’s promises, you’re not making something up—you’re agreeing with what He has already spoken.3
